Villa Eleni: at a glance... Large rental property with very big private pool, 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Sea and mountain views. Prime location being easy distance to Kassiopi harbour, the beach(es) and high street. Air conditioned throughout, WiFi and off-road parking. The location... The biggest benefit in staying in Villa Eleni is it's location. Set in the exclusive and underpopulated corner of Anatoliko, Kassiopi, it combines the much wanted serenity of a secluded location with the convenience of having close proximity to Kassiopi's village centre and Kassiopi harbour. A prime spot and a rarity for a villa of Eleni's size and luxury. After enjoying a relaxing meal down in the harbour, you can take a stroll back to the villa. Via a little-known path you can be back enjoying drinks relaxing on the sofas by the pool in less than 5 minutes. A safe and easy journey, not too strenuous for older visitors and suitable for letting younger adults enjoy their first taste of freedom too without the worry of how they shall return. No need to worry though that your privacy and peace would be threatened being so close to all amenities. Thanks to the clever positioning of the villa combined with the acoustic effect from the nearby mountains and the sea, your holiday is as peaceful as a middle-of-nowhere' retreat without the hassle of driving everywhere. A local supermarket offers free delivery to the villa also. No car, designated driver or taxis needed! The pool... In designing the villa, huge importance was put on creating the most peaceful outside space as your summer holidays are of course spent mostly enjoying the fresh air. The private pool area is of a very generous size and the pool itself is one of the largest available in the private rental villa market on the island. Relax on the plush, cushioned sunbeds close to your family and friends or enjoy a little solitude - there's room for both. One end of the space displays a huge marble table (canopied for comfort whilst dining) and large family-size BBQ. Another side boasts a covered veranda with sofa and armchairs-perfect to escape from the sun for a while but even more perfect for an evening prosecco or two. The space... Set over 3 levels, the villa easily and very comfortably sleeps 8 people. We have an extra single bed for a 9th person, plus wooden cots and high chairs for our little visitors. We own a secondary villa - Villa Christos ref: 8794568 - in the same neighborhood and so bookings for very large parties is also possible. All our bedrooms are very generous in size and have ample wardrobe space so you can live clutter free, hiding that suitcase you'll forget it's there! The living area is too, a comfortable size for everyone to relax. There is more than enough room for sunbathing and lazing about outside, giving you every opportunity to enjoy the views and climate. For those not so sun-friendly, there are shaded areas, parasols and covered verandas too. Every outside area is ornamented by flowers, grass and greenery. Combining this with the subtle lighting around the villa and it makes a haven of tranquility and pure bliss. It is an ideal villa for large families or large group of friends wanting to holiday together but wanting their own space too. The view... Another big bonus of stopping in Villa Eleni is the view. From the top two floors you profit from incommunicable spectacular views. Whilst relaxing at the villa, take time to enjoy your backdrop over Kassiopi village, Ionian sea, winding coastline, Byzantium castle and the nearby highest moutain in Corfu- mount Pantokratas. Our personal favourite feature... The top floor of the villa boasts an exquisite master bedroom, en-suite and huge veranda. Top grade luxury and set apart from the other bedrooms, you truly feel like king of the castle. If you are lucky enough to sleep in there, leave your curtains open and wake up to the whole of Kassiopi at your feet. (We have black-out blinds for those not so light-friendly though!) The master en-suite is enormous with his and hers sinks, a 3/4 sized shower enclosure and huge step-in bath with a wall to wall mirrored (i.e. one-sided) window. The private veranda boasts a lovely comfy seating area with the best views Kassiopi has to offer. Big enough for all the company to enjoy - should you allow them! In summary... Villa Eleni is the paradigm of luxury. It was so lovingly designed in the hope to match the aesthetic beauty of the surrounding environment so you can truly live the luxury life. From the lavish furnishings - made from the highest quality materials worldwide - to the simple convenience of having Kassiopi village centre and its amenities in close proximity, we believe Villa Eleni has it all. The most common remark from our guests is that the photos do not do it justice..... a profusion of elegance and grandeur from every room and outside area to give you the perfect haven to relax and enjoy your holiday in. So please, do just that!

The North-East coast, quite famously known as 'Kensington-on-sea' is a delight to all visitors and the lovely village of Kassiopi is one of those delights. It provides a satisfying array of amenities to suit everyone in your group - young or old. From an offering of both traditional and international cuisine to lively or leisurely bar culture to invigorating walks of castle ruins, coast and protected wildlife eco-zones, the variety of choice makes Kassiopi quite cosmopolitan. Kassiopi's village centre is an 8 minute walk away from Villa Eleni (but only 4 minutes via a small footpath). Kassiopi harbour is reachable in an easy 3 minute walk. Once down in the village you you can find plenty of things you may want or need: restaurants, bars, tourist and boutique shops, supermarkets, car hire, yellow submarine centre, excursion/exchange offices, computer access, pharmacy, playground plus more. A personal recommendation for something to do whilst in Kassiopi would be to hire a boat from the harbour and sail around the coast. Casting anchor at one of the many pretty little coves for a swim or mooring at a jetty for a spot of lunch. The Dureell's White House and Rothchild's castle are within an easy sail away... We are blessed with a beautiful coastline and there does not exist a better way to explore. Both boat and coach excursions run straight from the village too. Why not enjoy a relaxing East coast cruise or, going West, have fun on the sandy beach BBQ trip? (The closest sandy beach is just 6 minutes drive away and is super safe with long shallow waters for children.) Alternatively for those who wish to kick back and do nothing, Kassiopi and it's residents laid-back feeling make for the perfect backdrop. A quaint small cove for dipping into the sea is only 4 minutes walk behind the villa and the main beach is just 7 minutes walk. There are a few equally beautiful small coves along the headland of Kassiopi that are worth an exploration...all within easy walking distance. Being on the North-East coastof Corfu, the seas here are free from dangerous currents and flaunt blue-flag status. The harbour of Kassiopi is overlooked by the partially restored Byzantium Castle. You are treated to some spectacular views of Kassiopi if you walk the inside parameters of the castle and walking the outside parameters along the headland, views across the sea to the Albanian coastline. Worth the walks! Kassiopi plays host to some beautiful celebrations troughout the year and it is at these times that you really feel the community spirit and authentic Greek culture come alive. Notable festivals include May Day, May 8th 'panagia' in celebration and remembrance of the Great Miracle in 1530, May 21st celebrating the unification of the Ionian Islands, August 15th in celebration of the assumption of Mary and October 28th celebrating 'Oxi' (no) Day. Often these days would be highlighted with parades, marching bands, live music, fireworks and greek dancing. Plus lots of merry Greek locals! In booking Villa Eleni you are dealing with the owners of the villa who live within the village and are therefore able to offer great tips, advice and contacts for whatever you may wish to do once in Kassiopi. Most important thing: enjoy your holiday in our village because it's a very special, beautiful place.

Villa Eleni completely exceeded our expectations. The villa was immaculately clean and comfortably accommodated our party of 9. The pool was perfect, with so much outside space and plenty of shaded areas to relax and eat. Keleigh, the owner, visited us on the first day and gave us lots of information on local beaches and restaurants, all within walking distance. We didn't have any problems with the villa, but it was good to know Keleigh was there in Kassiopi if we needed her.
It was a short walk into the town for shops and a huge selection of bars and restaurants. Great if, like us, you have older children with you who enjoy a bit of independence. Not necessary to have a car as everything is so close by. We loved the fact that even though we were in the town so close to everything, the villa is not overlooked.
We had the most amazing holiday at Villa Eleni and would highly recommend it.
The pictures of this villa online simply do not show how wonderful it is. The Villa is set on a quiet side street a couple of minutes walk away from the main town. Quite often, with a location this close to the centre, you expect a certain amount of noise but Villa Eleni is like an oasis of calm in the middle of the hustle and bustle. You can sit on the balcony overlooking the town at any time of day and the only sound is that of the Cicadas in the tree or the soft breeze running through the leaves of the trees.
The Villa itself sits proudly on a small slope overlooking the town and sea and is impressive from the start. The entrance is as grand as the very large living room and the bedrooms are all impeccably clean and well presented. The beds are soft and the floors are thankfully cooling in the heat of the sun. The main bedroom is very large with two balconies coming from the two large double doors. One is small and overlooks the sea, a perfect place for a peaceful moment, the other is enormous and was always the venue for drinks before heading out for the evening. The bathroom in the main bedroom features a very large bath and a mirrored window overlooking the bay, a moving picture of the town of Kassiopi and quite entrancing.
The pool is equally impressive, laden with seating and sunbeds, a crystal clear way to cool off. The pool area is cleaned almost daily and each morning we would wake to a perfectly swept stone floor surrounding the largest pool we have ever encountered in a Villa. The large Barbecue area is very well placed to cook in the evening, in the shadow of the Olive trees at the side of the garden offering welcome relief from the heat of the sun.
The whole experience is very decadent and you will not want to leave. A wonderful example of what a villa should be like. Some places say they are amazing, this one is amazing. 5 Stars all the way.
